Review: Bleach London Rosé Hair Dye & Shampoo and Conditioner
If you follow me on Instagram (if you don't you should) you would have seen that in the last couple of months I've gone from having blonde hair to having pink hair, back to being blonde, to having pink hair again and it's just been a long cycle!
After using several temporary pink hair dyes, I have FINALLY found one that does not stain my blonde hair!
Because of the job I have, I can't have super fun colored hair so when I went on vacation for weeks this summer, I wanted to take advantage of the freedom and quench my thirst for fun hair. It had to be gone by the time I was back in work so I needed to find one that wouldn't stain and stay forever.
After extensive research and asking others for help, I finally found a candy floss pastel pink hair dye that was EXACTLY what I wanted! That hair dye was Bleach London in Rosé which is only €8.99 in Boots and every so often part of their 3 for 2 offer!
With the help of my BFF, we applied about a bottle and a half to all of my hair. Starting in sections and combing it through and lathering the hair and letting it sit for about an hour.
Here's how it looked upon first application:
HOW GORG!?
I really really loved this color pay off. I didn't dilute it or anything. The photo above has no filter on it, just natural lighting, so that was the exact shade. It was exactly what I wanted, a pastel pink!
In the following days, I was spending a lot of time swimming and doing water sports in a natural lake so it faded in about a week,
It faded to this shade after about two washes after being in a lake and everything. I was so happy because you can still obviously see the pink apart from the ends, it was pretty even and looked almost like highlights.
I wasn't done with having fun hair though, I had brought about 3/4 of a bottle with me for a top up. Because I had about half as much with me than what I used the first time I was a little nervous about applying it. So, I did something a little unconventional that I'm sure hairdressers everywhere would cringe at;
I dipped the ends of my Wet Brush into the hair dye and just began brushing my hair! I would start from root to tip and dip my brush again and just try to get it as even as possible! I was hoping to achieve a somewhat highlighted look and cover as much hair as possible. With this method and using the entire bottle, I managed to cover my entire hair!!!
And this was the result:
I was quite happy with how this method turned out!! It looked like a Rose Gold which is a color I am OBSESSED with lately.
Within a week, the color was completely faded and I was back to lovely bright blonde hair stain-free!
This all took place in July of this year. By October, I had missed the pretty pink hair and wanted it again!
When I was doing my research for the hair dye, I came across a review done on the Rosé Shampoo and Conditioner from Sugarscape. Because of my job, I thought it would be subtle enough to get away with yet still pretty cool. So, I gave it a go! The shampoo and conditioner can also be found in Boots and are €8,49 each and again, part of their 3 for 2 deal when it's on.
At first, I simply washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioned it with the conditioner to see how it showed up.
As you can see, there are very subtle hues of the pink in the hair. My hair had gotten quite brassy at this stage so that paired with the pink really made for a beautiful rose gold tone.
As far as the shampooing and conditioning goes, My hair felt felt very nice and clean and soft at the ends after washing and conditioning, so it's good for not only dying!
I wanted to try what they tried in the Sugarscape review where she applied the shampoo onto dry hair before washing it out to create a more intense effect.
So I applied it, let it sit for a few minutes, applied more to wash out, rinsed and conditioned and was DELIGHTED with the result! It was a proper pink!!
Unfortunately I only had it for one night for a concert before I washed it out so the only picture I have is from Snapchat in the dark so it's quite low quality but I hope you can still tell how PINK it is!!
After this, I washed my hair with a regular shampoo and conditioner to fade it out and it still had some light tones of pink but it was back to being very subtle. After about the second and third wash it was gone completely and left my hair stain-free!
Overall, I loved both products. They did exactly what I wanted them to do. The idea of the shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING and I don't know why someone hasn't come up with it sooner! If you were using the hair dye, the shampoo and conditioner would be PERFECT for keeping the color.
I didn't find the products harsh on my hair. The ends didn't break and I didn't find it that damaging on my hair so that is obviously a good perk.
I loved all of these products and would definitely recommend it to my fellow hair color junkies out there! I'd give these products a 10/10.

Looks cool but I prefer your blonde color, I guess it's what I'm use to seeing! It's good to experiment though!
