Drugstore Makeup Haul
A lot of $$$ was shed on this drugstore haul but it was a bunch of products that I've been wanting to try and needed so it was well justified. I will post a couple of reviews on some of the products I got once I've tried them out for a couple of weeks so stay tuned for that! All of the items I purchased at CVS. I went ahead and divided the haul into the three makeup brands (all cruelty free of course) that I purchased, E.L.F, NYX and Wet n Wild.
E.L.F
Acne Fighting Gel
Price: $2
I've been breaking out a little lately and I saw this bad boy and figured I'd give it a shot! It says it has tea tree oil, aloe and salicylic acid which are all amazing ingredients to treat blemishes.
Poreless Face Primer
Price: $6
I love trying new primers and testing out how they make my foundation look and feel throughout the day so I was super stoked when I saw Elf's range of primers. My pores have been a little larger than usual lately and I've noticed my foundation sinking into them so I thought I'd try the Poreless Face primer from their range! I love the packaging of the product. It looks very chic and expensive despite it being very affordable!
Blush Palette- Light
Price: $6
Blush Palette- Light
I actually picked this item up for a friend as I'm not a huge blush fan. I can contour and highlight for days but blush isn't really a major item I have in my makeup kit. However, I did like the look of this palette. It looks very sleek and has a nice large mirror. The color variety isn't vary large but you do have a light pink, a more rosey pink, a coral pink and a bronzey orange. The palette comes in dark and light options but I opted for the light.
Dramatic False Eyelashes
Price: $1 each
I'm a huge fan of the eyelashes from Eyelure but I'm also the type of person who only realises they don't have any lashes while they're getting ready to go out so I figured I'd stock up on some falsies! For the price, it was well worth it!
Studio Brushes
Price: $3 each
I have been a HUGE fan of Elf's brushes for years. They are all vegan and super soft and amazing, I've only tried the brushes from their Studio range but they've all been amazing and have lasted me a long time. I purchased the powder brush, blush brush, concealer brush, flawless concealer brush and small stippling brush.
I have repurchased the powder and blush brush as mine are currently five years old and because I use the powder brush everyday, I needed a replacement!
I use two of the blush brushes for contour and highlight.
The powder brushes are great not only for applying powder but I've found for applying liquid foundation as well,
Wet n Wild
Megalength Mascara
Price: $2.39
Max Volume Plus Mascara
Price: $3.74
Because mascara is a beauty product that I use nearly every single day, I always try new products because you never one when you'll come across a new favorite of yours! A good mascara can really go a long way to make your eyelashes look fuller, longer or even like falsies! It's the type of beauty item you could always use so I felt like there wasn't much to lose trying these two bad boys out!
Price: $3.74
This is one of the items I was most excited about because all of the highlighting shades!!! I've been all about highlighting and strobing lately so I'm super excited to try this out. The bronze shade to the very right will be great for summer time when I've got more of a tan going while the two left shades are perfect for general strobing.
Photofocus Setting Spray
Price: $1.52
I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay's setting spray and thought I'd give this one a try since given the price, there isn't really anything to lose! I love using setting sprays to lock in my makeup and prevent it from melting or sliding off of my face throughout the day or night. It's also a great product to spray on your face during a long day when you might need a little freshening up!
NYX
Dark Circle Concealer- Fair
Price: $2.99
This is a concealer with orange undertones designed to cancel out the blue tones or under eye circles. I saw this and wanted to try it for those early college mornings or for mornings when I didn't get much sleep to try to brighten up my eyes and make me look more alive and refreshed.
HD Studio Finishin Powder- Translucent
Price: $9.99
This was one of the more pricier products that I bought. I thought it would be good to try for baking my face. It says it is designed to give your foundation a matte finish and as I am a HUGE matte fan, it could have a duel purpose for me and maybe even make foundations that don't have matte finishes more desirable to me!
Price: $6.99
(CVS had a Buy 1, Get 1 for 50% off deal on NYX products so some of the lipsticks I got for $3.49)
Now, these are the pride and joy and my favorite purchases from this entire haul! NYX had just recently released the Lingerie collection in 2016 so I was absolutely over the moon to get my hands on them! Now, I believe they have around 15 different shades all in the nude category so I just picked up most of the ones that caught my eye the most! I am planning on doing a review of the ones I purchased that will be posted in a week or so!
Here are the shades listed from top to bottom:
#11 Babydoll
#7 Satin Ribbon
#6 Push-Up
#3 Lace Detail
#2 Embellishment
#1 Honeymoon

I was a really big fan of some of the ELF stuff for a bit, especially the nail varnishes actually! They're so cheap but also have a really great range so you can't go too far wrong I find! Want to follow each other on Bloglovin' so we can keep up with eachother? Love your blog.

ELF will always be an all time fav but since I just discovered NYX, ELF would be my second fav drugstore brand. ELF brushes are unbeatable for the price though!
