Baking Your Face?
We've all heard of contouring and strobing but what's the new fad? Apparently, baking!!!

So, what is baking? Baking is essentially setting your concealer for a long period of time. Here are the steps:
- Apply concealer to the key areas such as under your eyes, laugh lines, blemishes, anywhere you highlight.
- Take the powder you use to set your concealer (at the moment, I'm using a flesh tone matte eye shadow because I'm loving the coverage. A loose translucent powder does the trick, too!)
- Let it sit for 10-15 minutes while you do your eye make-up or whatever else.
- Blend away with any fluffy face brush and ta da!
Baking is also used after contouring to REALLY accentuate the contour line and make it even more on fleek.
I've personally found that baking does make a difference. I'm not fully sure if the amount of time reaaaaaally makes a difference but I'd like to think so! The extra layer of coverage sure isn't going to hurt anyone, anyway!
I've incorporated baking into my everyday routine when I know I'll be out all day. I usually keep things simple with just mascara and a flesh toned eyesadow but it's nice to have that insurance that your makeup will stay put alllll day. Especially as the day goes on and you get more and more tired and want those eyebags covered!
Be sure to try baking before the year runs out! It may just help your Christmas Day makeup last.
