Matte Everyday Make-up Look


This look is probably my 'Go to' everyday make-up look when I want to put more effort in than just mascara but still want to keep it pretty simple. 
I ditched the highlighter (for once) and used products that only had matte finishes. I'm putting the product list at the end of this post! 
The main key to this look is matte matte matte. Matte eye shadows, matte blush, matte bronzer etc. The second most important key to this look that takes it that bit further, is I use just an angled brush and black eye shadow to apply the little wing that you can see clearly in the photo below.
 
Using just shadow gives it that subtle smokey affect that I just love for everyday use when going to college or work and just want to put that little bit of extra effort in! The trick is to slightly dampen the brush before dipping it in black eye shadow to really get the product locked on there!

    • Mac Nice n Spicy liner (not cruelty free)

  • Sephora eye shadow (to REALLY mattify those lips!)

How to Travel Like a Pro

I've done my share of travelling in my short 18 years of being alive. My first flight was when I was 4 weeks old and I've been flying pretty regularly ever since. What's in My Gym Bag?

This has been a highly requested post on what I bring to the gym with me! I may not use all of the products below every time I go but I have used them all at one stage or another! Sometimes, post workout, I'll go to the pool so a lot of the products are for showering and after showering at the gym!  First things first, bag! Now, I'm completely loyal to all things Nike and this is to be honest, the PERFECT size bag! It seems a little big but I can fit all of my gym gear, towel, and a complete outfit for after the gym. It's called the  Brasilia Small Duffel Bag  which I purchased at JD Sports for €30 which I find quite reasonable for a Nike product and for one of its size! It's got two pockets at the side.
