Kylie Cosmetics Metal Matte and Gloss Review

I know I'm the worst blogger ever after not posting anything for 2 months. ( I know I suck.) Things got so busy and hectic with exams and work that with what little time I had away from that I used to eat, sleep and relax.
That being said, I hope I can make up for it with this exciting review of Kylie Cosmetic's metal matte lipstick and gloss!
I was pretty skeptical thinking all of the hype and fuss was about the name but I was really amazed.

The first one I'll be reviewing is my favorite of the two, the Metal Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Heir.
It's a shade like no other I've really seen before and what really made me want it was Kylie's pic she posted wearing it to Coachella:
Just look at the way it glitters in the sunlight, it's so beautiful.
First thing's first, the packaging is amazing. It's in a glass like bottle and the wand is a perfect little heart shaped ideal for application especially on the upper lip.
My favorite part about this product was that it actually smells like icing!!! You know, the stuff you put on a cake. It's amazing. Serious props to Kylie for that.
The second thing that has to be mentioned is that it is SO moisturizing. The feel of it on your lips is not dry at all. And even though it's so moisturizing, it doesn't transfer on glasses or food or anything!
I did find that on a night out, it was gone after a lot of sipping and eating and what not, but it does last a while. So, the only thing I have to say negatively about it is that you do need to reapply every so often.
Here's a photo of me rocking it with no lip liner.

This product is a serious 10/10 for me.

Now, the gloss in So Cute is next! I'm a huge lipstick/ liquid lipstick fan and I am very skeptical about glosses. I hate when they feel tacky and sticky and just ew.
I trusted Kylie though and went for the palest shade so I could wear it everyday and it could become my new Go-To!
It doesn't smell like icing like the Metal Matte but it still does smell good.
It's formula is extremely moisturizing and smooth and not at all sticky, just in your average gloss way. It is the perfect nude for pale people. I wasn't really a fan of it when I had tan on, but I think with the right liner it would be perfect because I have seen it on tanner people looking amazing!
The gloss didn't really stand out to me as much as the metal matte did but I still did really love it!
I'd give it an 8/10.
Here are swatches of the two:

Heir on the left, So Cute on the right. With flash on top and no flash on bottom.
If I was to purchase more shades, I would definitely be more inclined to go for the Metal Matte's and then gloss. And then I think I might purchase a kit but we'll all have to wait and see!!!
Hope this slightly makes up for being MIA for so long! I will definitely be much better about posting! Thanks for checking this out!
